I think the only dislike I have that is worth mentioning is the lack of full instrumentation - oh, and the headlight beam pattern is blotchy which is annoying when you drive long distances at night.

I have some other personal gripes but these two things should be important issues to all drivers IMO.

PS - those annoying little "mozzies" don't really worry me - just swat them HARD!

I get more fun at just putting off from the lights when those dickheads try to bait you. Made in Japan and you are not worthy to race with me pal. Milk comes in two litres.

I love the car however some of the "options" should have been standard...I.e auto lights off, alloy spare, (both of which I did not order and now regret)

Gotta love those ricies - leaving them behind always brings a smile to my face!!!

More seriously, there is one thing that bothers me a little with the car. The 'hidden' aerial doesn't seem to have the same range as those externally mounted. I guess I notice this more living in the mountains. My EL Fairmont used to pick up the radio stations better. Not a big deal but - I can just flick on the CD player!!

HERE! HERE!

I don't like how the trip/tc/foglights/etc switches are all 'hidden'.

But small price to pay for a great car.

Agree with those points Dave.

Also the driver's power window switch should have auto up and should have the lights in them as the XR8 and Fairmont supposedly do.

I also dislike the warniing label on the back of the drivers sunvisor - very distracting when driving along.

The XR (and FPV) range should have unique paint colours. I saw an Acid Rush XT wagon and it looked wrong.

The interior light switch on the dash is near impossible to find in the dark (when you need it the most), it should either be lit or moved somewhere more accessable.
