Wayne D Member 12 Member For: 19y 11m 28d Posted 18/05/05 11:59 AM Share Posted 18/05/05 11:59 AM This is my first ever post to this or any other forum, so bear with me. I am picking up my XR6 Turbo Mark 2 6 speed this weekend and want some advice to sort out all I have read about modifications to the XR6T. This will be a daily driver, usually with my 2 kids in it or half the soccer team. BUT as I am going through through the "boy racer" phase again I want a quick car. SO to those that have done mods to their cars WHERE SHOULD I START? There is heaps of stuff on this site about mods. Most common for first mod is CAI ( http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.ph...topic=15262&hl= ) if you can afford 15 hundered bucks get an edit, its easy horsepower and virutally un-detectable by ford.By the way when you get your best dont forget Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/17697-where-should-i-start-xr6-turbo/#findComment-254188 Share on other sites

ubyte Member 108 Member For: 21y 8m 13d Posted 18/05/05 01:07 PM Share Posted 18/05/05 01:07 PM Must admitt Wayne_D im in the same boat... however have had the T for just over a year!To be honest I'd leave it stock standard for a little while then up the anty. The one thing you really *must* invest in are the premium brakes if you do up the anty.Give her a diet of BP98 and she'll thrust ya back many a time until u need that little bit more... In the meantime just take her out at nite (for refillling) when its nice and cold like 11c's... I V my T!!!
