I can't believe I just sat through that :sleepystuff:

And I must of been on some of Schapelle's drugs when the 'case against' was aired, all I remember is some guy talking about how fair and sophisticated the Indonesian legal system is. I think the case against consisted of Derryn Hinch saying he reckoned she done it.

And that fcuken worm, Mike Munro, SMS voting... Makes me :sleepystuff:

I reckon she's guilty. That's just my opinion. I think her sister and mother were smokin' that sheyatt prior to that sad excuse for an interview. I like how she refers to the drugs as marajuana. Real druggo's don't call it that, but I reckon she's using a bit of reverse psychology in an attempt to try and make herself look innocent.

The show was sh*t, SMS rubbish and what the fark are they asking celebs for their bloody opinion for?! What a circus of a show. Im not surprised by Channel 9, I do watch some of their stuff but I dislike that channel the most.

I get a man-vibe slightly in favor of "feeling" that Corby is guilty but Id have to find her not guilty due to fingerprint stuffups. Also think the attempt to smuggle was too poor to be deliberate, I mean virtually no attempt at concealing the dope. At the same time I saw her dad interviewed and he struck me as a very low IQ fella, very thick.

Trial by media is just farkin wrong IMO. Would anyone here like to be placed under the microscope?

farkin experts here and there commenting on the way she did everything.

What next? "by the way she is sitting she looks edgy and guilty" Oh silly me, I thought she just needed to get some haemoroid creame because they'd became uncomfortable to sit on. :censored:

I've always assumed she was not guilty based on the information "fed to us via the media".

However, after watching last night's show, 2 things caught my attention :

1). The question has always been raised as to why anyone would take the drug to Bali when it would be cheaper to source it there. Turns out that the quality of the drug is not the same.

2). She made the admission that she has "experimented" with drugs before.

While neither of these points makes her guilty.....it does raise some doubt as to her innocence.

It is extremely unrealistic to apply Western democratic principles and a adversarial legal system to a case that occurred in a vastly different political structure and an inquisitorial legal system.

If she was arrested in Australia, she probably wouldn't even have been charged.

However, she wasn't!

She was arrested in Indonesia and as such, whether Australians like it or not, she is in the Indonesian 'system' and she takes her chances.

I may be cynical, but the whole Channel 9 expose' is purely designed to sell as much advertising space as they can so that the programme is successful. It's just another top rating story.

It wouldn't even have made the news if it was a 40 year old fat bloke from Mt Druitt with two teeth missing who had a bag of hooch in his boogie board bag.

We have only been privy to evidence at the hearing that has been broadcast on the news. I don't think that Schapelle (what sort of name is that...probably one of those hippy names that her drug dealing family came up with) has been sitting looking at the three judges for the past couple of weeks without any witness testimony being heard.

I think she's as guilty as sin anyway....cannabis grown in Australia with the hydroponic chemicals used is a significantly higher THC content than SE Asian hooch and as such she would be able to pay her way from beach to beach.....or her brother could have if he owned up to it.
