I think the edit is a great thing for us and there have been one or two that bags it

lets see where we all stand

Yes I'm happy with what the CAPA edit in that it has provided me with a tool to modify the performance of my T to my satisfaction.

As has been said many a time before the "Tools are only as good as the Tradesman using them" so in the main that's where any issues will stem.

My critism of the product itself.............

Up to recently Tuners have been restricted in their ability to get the best out of the product which I believe goes back to SCT themselves although CAPA would also have something to answer for in this regard. Even as of today we still have a way to go before tuners will be afforded the tuning flexibility offered by other tuning devices.

The launch by CAPA left alot to be desired and unfortunately underminded the initial positive impact that the product arguably deserved.

The standard tunes whilst offering good gains across the board did not allow for the vaiances getween cars and as such the opportunity for fully trained tuners to provide custom tunes should have been available from day 1.

All that being said lets not forget that the product is the first of its type (for Fords) so I believe CAPA should be cut a bit of slack as the product continues to be developed and improved.

Pretty happy, but way too pricey for mind. I think it's a RRP $799 product plus a couple hundge for a custom tune. $1297 from HPF is a good deal Vs competitors, but just too pricey IMO :spoton:

Happy with mine, on 10psi it made 260rwkw with stock injectors, but was running out of fuel. Replaced injectors and had Barry from FPT / D & T in Wangara retune to suite the new injectors. Made 265 rwkw, 10 psi boost, 11.8 AFR.

Best of all, no surging!
