Just be gentle!<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Bit hard to hold the guage and the plug together and tap the bastards. Also, what can happen is the pin can compress ( it is very soft ) and the electrode will bend. Whatever floats your boat I guess!

I rubbed it with my thumb and it didn't come off. I think it was baked on there!Other than that it was very clean and look good. I dead set sure the car runs better like that. The boost just seems more solid now, maybe the cylinders are getting a better combustion now? Maybe I am full of it!Can't wait for the Edit!<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Maybe a can of that Throttle Body Cleaner spray stuff could come in handy?I've used that on a few car and damn it helps a hell of alot Lumpy <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Go to your local Subaru dealer, and ask for a can of "Upper Engine Cleaner" p/n SA459, this stuff is the business for removing any sort of baked on crud inside your T/B, and intake system. Its kinda pricey (bout $15 a bottle), but you get what you pay for!
Guest mercurysteve Guests Posted 17/05/05 10:35 PM Share Posted 17/05/05 10:35 PM Thanks George . When I was edited, I was told @ 248.9rwkw the valve springs were letting go and the fuel ratios were maxed out, running only 9 psi.By gapping the plugs without getting new valve springs, fuel pump and injectors, my understanding is I cannot run any more boost anyway. Is this true guys?
