As I said its just temporary I want to put it near the BEM but I've got to have the ICC removed.

These are the specs on the sensor

That's a great idea NT TURBO.

How many wires are there to connect and where did you connect to?

Is it wired in parallel with the bonnet switch?

Is the switch so you can isolate the sensor?

That might be the go, Ford alarm and add a shock sensor

Also, any chance of a readable scan of the spec sheet, I know, I ask a lot :)

Thanks

Mate I reckon its the go, 4 wires + to bat through fuse, neg to bat and high and low sesitivity output through a diode supplied and straight onto the bonnet alarm switch wire. My switch switches between high and low sensitivity.

Sorry I'll take another photo I dont have a scanner.

Tell me if this ones any good.

Thanks for that, I can read that one.

Do you require the switch for high and low sensitivity?

When do you switch between them?

Thanks again.

You can use one or the other. But I thought have a switch so if its too windy I can switch to the less sensitive input rather than switch it off altogether.

Good idea.

Out of interest, where do Ford fit the bonnet pin switch when they install the alarm?

Would you have any photos of the bonnet switch and the siren?

Where did you purchase your shock sensor from?

Thanks

Hang on I get a photo of the switch, bought the shock sensor from the only auto audio/alarm shop in Darwin that had them (Carcom). The siren is fitted under the wiper motor.

Many years ago, 3 days after I bought brand new 17's for my fairmont I went to drive off at about 2am only to find my whole car just collapsed. 'F#*K' I said. got out to have a looksee and the bastards had taken EVERY wheel nut. Then I also noticed 4 bricks where the car was parked. The alarm had gone off but I thought nothing of it. 'Why didn't you have locknuts on?' you ask. I had a set in sydney so I went the cheapskate way and didn't buy new ones with the new wheels. new lesson. DON'T EVER NOT HAVE LOCKNUTS!!!!!!
