Cat is $382, and fits up to the dump pipe. I think a bit of custom pipework would be in order to join the cat to the factory BA pipework after the ( original ) cat, but would cost a couple hunge to do??If I go anything, it will be this setup. With roadside smog sniffers becoming more common you'd not want to get the fine for the gutting cat ($10K I believe), and while they may not throw the book at you for having an in-effective cat they can definately pick a de-cat/gutted job easy. Hell you can smell the difference!A. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/17558-free-flow-cat/page/2/#findComment-253123 Share on other sites

They demand that car be supplied for tested, in which you would obviously just put it back to stock for the test...of course if they have a road side testing station, well then your just fecked...Dave. If you look at the post "cracking 400 Rwkw With Edit" his exhaust is stated as "SMB 4 inch dump + SMB 4 inch Cat + 2x 2.5 inch pipe then back to factory centre muffler and factory rear muffler. " which is pushing a sh*t load of power. We should try and organize a group buy or kit from them to bring down the price Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/17558-free-flow-cat/page/2/#findComment-253252 Share on other sites

aztech Member 22 Member For: 21y 5m 6d Posted 18/05/05 09:43 AM Share Posted 18/05/05 09:43 AM Umm, forgive my ignorance, but how would the $4 broomstick "hi-flow" the cat. I had a look at mine and you have to remove the whole exhaust from back of turbo to well after the exhaust splits into two. I was wondering how one would get around this, just out of interest of corse.
