Guest Mal Guests Posted 11/05/05 03:04 AM Share Posted 11/05/05 03:04 AM (edited) I ask the question coz a neighbour just bought a 2nd hand MkI XR8 ute and his paint has a gold fleck, while my MkII is a blue fleck.. He asked if anything had been done away from factory, and was told no. Edited 11/05/05 03:07 AM by Mal

If its gold its not standard to my belief. Edited 11/05/05 03:10 AM by BLK6T

If all over then a whole re-spray has been done but that would seem weird. Or maybe ford ran out of blue

Any gold (a la WRX Sti Black) is an impostor.I can look up the paint code if the forum really wants it...cheers

A vehicle inspection by RACQ showed no signs of damage repairs.
