As mentioned, head up to Mount Canobolas aswell as Lake Canobolas.. its nice and relaxing.

Head out to one of the vineyards (if you like wine). Theres an awsome vineyard called Bloodwood Estates, you can only go by appointment though to sample and buy their wines.. (Well worth it though!!) Send me a PM if you want more info on this place.

I used to live in orange for 13years of my life.. My dad used to manage the Parkview Hotel and a few other places..

As for Roo's.. some people just have no idea... You wont see many of those if any at all.

Thanks all, I've worked out my route now :)

I'm going to head up through Goulburn - Taralga - Oberon (dirt) then over to Bathurst, do a couple of laps around Mt Panorama :)

If I'm running on time I'll shoot over to Mt&Lake Canobolas, then I'll be heading out to Dubbo, South to Parkes, West to Condobolin, East to Parkes again, Over to Orange, do the job (start at 5pm), head back home to Canberra via Cowra & Yass.

Can't go to the wineries Bain, need to drive and work :)

All up that's about 1200kms, good for a days sight seeing :spoton:

Just got back, top drive.

Ended up going north to Goulburn, then onto Taralga, Oberon, Bathurst.

Done 4 laps around Mt Panorama, took some pics (below)

Shot over to Dubbo via Orange, south to Parkes again, back to Orange to do the job and drove home again.

All up 1051.3 kms (note the 1.3, been seeing a lot of 13's today).

13kms to next down, 213kms to next town. Average fuel consumption 13.3L, etc...

Most of the drive was actually boring as batsh*t, long straights with nothing to do but push the loud pedal

Couldn't believe how many BA XR's I saw in Dubbo, shame none of the owners are on here...

Yeah the Parkview was a dive.. Theyve cleaned it up pretty well since then...

Cadia Hill Gold mine.. I used to serve the core sampler drillers every year when I worked at Canobolas Hotel up in Silks, (also used to manage Powerhouse Nightclub.. lol)..

I remember the guys got me a few peices of 'hardware' as a thanks for the free drinks I used to give em..

Cro: All you need is a few pit crew girls laying on your car!
