Oh dear FORD you`ve done it again,

When are they gonna learn they spend millions on creating good publicity and advertising and shoot themselves with cheap easy fixes.

This is it - I can't believe he's asking full price for a car with no wheels.  And surely he could have tried a little harder to get some wheels, considering I've seen standard XR's getting around with FPV GT and GT-P wheels.

Hmmm...

I don't really follow the price of cars I couldn't afford even if I sold my mother, so, is that a cheap price (allowing $4,000~ for genuine wheels through a dealer) or is it too dear? Seems expensive to me.

id say the dealer delivered the car with bad paint finish on the wheels, or the paint deteriorated within the first few thousand kms, and hes demanded they take them back. after they took them, the dealer may then of said the new wheels wont come till june and theyve already sent the original ones back to ford. my guess anyway.

that, or hes sold the wheels to a mate, and hes trying to sell the car for as new price, and make a bit of dough. would have to be stupid though...

I reckon he still has the wheels - he's just advertising it like this to make a point. I wonder if he'd take $60k ??? He can keep his wheels - I'm sure I could find some to go on it. Then again, it hasn't been painted yet ... Oh bother!! I can't afford a spray job as well as wheels.
