The F6 has different rim offset front to back, so the spare is actually a front wheel, and can be put on the rear temporarily, but the rears cannot go on the front.

And as the tyres are directional the spare is only good for one side, so technically I have a spare front passengers side wheel. :spoton:

So when my dealer rotates my tyres ( for free ) every 30k, they have to remove the tyres from the rims, refit and balance then swap em round???

Damn, I think the mechs will damage 'em more by doing that..

Just curious, who told you the rims have different offset's?

No one, just figured it out myself........ after I read it in the owners manual, and then again when I saw the dirty big warning sticker to that effect, on the bit'o wood under the boot carpet on top of the spare wheel. :crybaby:

Can take a pic and post if you like no biggie.
