i dont think fpv wouldve built xr6t engines, id say fpv got the intercoolers built for them hence the fpv sticker on them.

i was sure i read some where that they where assembling the first of run of xr6t engines...could be wrong thought

y would fpv get the coolers built for them if they had nothing to do with the xr6t's?

not an argument just a question..

when the xr6t's are built their sent to FPV factory to have the "FPV" coolers fitted. its been like this from day 1. the typhoon cooler is different again and is NOT available to be fitted to the xr6t UNLESS you buy it yourself through fomoco

I knew this thread was around here somewhere...

I fitted one of these coolers not so long back and I'm very happy with it. Power went from 280 to 311rwkw's before the stock fuel pump ran out of flow.

And as you will see by the pic it's build quality is arguable the best of any bolt in cooler on the market.

Saleen, our straight fit intercooler is the best intercooler. Why? Because its the only one with any research and development behind it. Contact all those selling them for a data sheet, and see what you get.

Lol, now aint that the truth. We read of facts about coolers, without any facts :crybaby:

yeah mines been great. when I took the damaged one in to be pressure tested the guy doing the test was most impressed with the workmanship, and even more impressed with the price, he thought it would retail for $1500-2000.

When the XR6T's were first produced they were all sent to FPV to have the intercooler fitted hence the FPV sticker. XR6 Turbos now have the intercooler fitted at the factory. The only reason an XR6 Turbo would go to FPV now would be to have a sunroof fitted. Turbo Terry's also have the intercooler fitted at the factory. The Typhoon on the other hand still goes accross to FPV to have the intercooler fitted I believe.
