Because its the only one with any research and development behind it. Contact all those selling them for a data sheet, and see what you get. Street Tuner Member 727 Member For: 22y 2m 14d Posted 18/06/05 10:17 PM Author Share Posted 18/06/05 10:17 PM (edited) [back to the intercooler.....Our core is manufactured in South Australia by ADRAD. It is a tube and fin core, which any of you can watch being extruded if you happened to get a site pass for their factory and wanted to spend the time. End tanks are pressed with a special tool for the XR6 turbo, which is why they are sleek, one piece things, rather than welded together 'cake tin' style tanks like some others on the market. The result is less pressure drop, which in turn creates more power. None of this is rocket science. Its just good product engineering versus cheap product engineering. Both sound extremely good for direct fitments.I will wait for a week or so before choosing, hopefully a few will have been fitted by both parties so keep us informed fellas.Brett. Romulus Donating Members 1,279 Member For: 20y 2m 6d Location: Perth Posted 24/06/05 10:47 AM Share Posted 24/06/05 10:47 AM Some more pics of the intercooler....Haven't been able to dyno the car yet as the clutch has let go - I'm having to potter the car around with the stock program until it arrives next week. I've ordered the SMB 4" dump pipe and SMB 4" cat, so I'll have that fitted shortly then dyno the car with the 6 psi program, 10psi program and the 15psi program.
