I have SS Induction & K&N Filter with standard exhaust currently running the 10 PSI Tune. Is the CUSTOM tune worth the cash, and how much does it cost in Brisbane? Whos the best tuner in Brizzy? Its not so important what the power gain is, as to how well it delivers the power across the rev range. The biggest bonus with a cutom tune is the boost in mid range torque, the peak power will top out about 15rwkw higher with a custom tune, and any modifications you make, a custom tune will take adjantage of that!I am going in with a CAI and Custom tune, and looking for 250rwkw, with the exhaust I hear 260rwkw is closer to the number, but valve springs and injectors are the bottle neck.Expect over 240 at the wheels what ever you do. Posted 25/05/05 12:21 PM Share Posted 25/05/05 12:21 PM Visit to Power Torque Engines (Brendale) today - and the Capa Edit is done. 8lb giving a "flat as" curve running to about 230 RWKW, and the 10lb out of the the box job running about 245ish RWKW. And it feels everyone one of those neddies - great stuff. Getting the 10lb custom map done soon, but there'll only be minor top end changes by the look of it. Looks like I've been lucky on the valve springs, and the Rising Rate reg makes a very safe difference on the AFR's. Interesting note - this T ran 201 RWKW standard. Many thanks to Mark and Paul for the run up. More news to come as we fine tune a little later..... JGPS - QUEENSLANDER.....
