either way it wasn't called for IN MY OPINION

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

And your intitled to it.

Gotta say im very surprised and dissapointed about this post from you Macka and at the end of the day I dont think that Graig is doing what he's doing to earn your respect

DBOSS,

Your intilted to you OP as well. I suggest that you all read my original post again without all the emotional BS that's going on here. There is a message in it that only one person seems to have noticed.

I know Craig is'nt doing it to earn my respect, as that is something that I choose to give to people that I consider to have earnt it.

He own's and runs a stripclub and is not financed or back by anyone yet was able to knock off one of the biggest tuners in Aust who inturn are back by a multi million dollar company themselves :msm:

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

totally agree :tease: He also gets generous help from obviously very good tuners

and to mention the fact that he pull his front seat out is just bloody nit picking I hate to see what would happen if he changed the diff ratio :tease:

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

As I said in my later post. The last time I seen Rumble it was a shell no front seat no back seat and probably a few other tricks. To drop over .5 of a sec off his previous PB, must have been one heavy front seat.

That Edit is one hell of a product :spoton:

I'll say it again as I have in all my posts.

"WELL DONE CRAIG" :spoton:

and I agree to disagree as edit is not used to change parameters exide is and I will leave it at that

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

The one thing I don't understand is this. If I'm not sure what is being done on my car regarding control of the cars computer, how can you know. :spoton:

I have a partial edit with the tuning being done by the Xede. Torque protection removed and rev limit increased with the edit. This may alter in the future but I know that after driving the car on Friday it was amazing. I still like the idea of having a switch for the different maps. I'm contemplating using the edit to lift the base tune to 270rwkw's and then using the Xede to set the different maps. I'll have a chat to HPF and get their thoughts.

so craig this is why I know whats been done

to sum it up the car is tuned by xede and capa edit removes torque protection and increased revs

My first attempt at the 10's, 3 weeks ago only used the edit to remove torque tags and increase the rev limit. I posted this at the time. I have since posted that Rob was going to see if we could utilise more of the edits features to help get the 10. Like I said, I don't know what was done but I know Rob was talking to his tuners.

Like you I'm not going to go through all my old posts to find it. It's there if you want to have a look.

Craig can provide a receipt for the edit from his tuner, his ecu has been altered by the edit, he has a 10 second time slip with his racing number and photos of his car with the matching number, sounds pretty straight forward to me.

Isnt the point of this particular thread the fact that someone has to break into the 10s with a CAPA edit to claim the honours :tease:

That has been done, period :spoton:

Geea (Craig) has stated that without it, it would not have been possible to do. Due to rev limiter and who knows (well Rob and Marty probably do :spoton: ) what else.

That in itself makes certain that it was the Edit that got him there. Craig has also aknowledged that without the Edit, he wouldnt ever make the 10's.

Is this really worth all the agro its receiving. :tease:
