I do not think CAPA would not pay as he could not have done it without editing the car.I think that the majority of people believe he deserves it (as I do) and it should be recognised as the fastest T in the world, irrespectiove of the fuel. exhaust and piggyback used.It has EDIT it HAS done 10'sWell done Craig

philldub Member 81 Member For: 20y 4m 26d Posted 29/05/05 05:56 AM Share Posted 29/05/05 05:56 AM (edited) Seems to me there are no rules any where about cars with or with out seats exhaust etc. To my knowledge the c&v car was fairly stripped and there was talk of no2. SO WHAT graig has the record and good on him. If someone wants to make rules that can be policed im sure the good guys will play by them. I saw all this sh*t when I raced vl turbos years ago. Bottom line the good guy still win. I would by amazed if capa did,nt pay and it seems a few are getting a head of themself. What geea has done if lift the bar and im sure other will be out there soon to try and raise it further. All sounds very positive to me.BRING IT ON. I have congradulated Craig for both of his efforts. If he had of clearly stated his objective the break C&V record and listed what he had removed or added to the car I would'nt have a problem. Nothing was stated and there are a lot of members who most likely think the car was in it full trim.Hi Macka. I don't believe that I have "prostituted" Rumble at all. I believe that my 11.58 is the quickest full street trim XR6T. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Agree with you there and that is what I have respect for. I would have rather you fitted larger injectors etc raised you power output and had a crack at it that way first. that would be really something to cherish. The comments were made from what I saw 2 weeks ago when you removed rear and front seats and some other things removed. Well done again for both of your efforts. You still have one record to go though. If I remember correctly Nizpro still have the fastest trap speed. Take the back seat out and have a crack at that one. Hope you all feel better now. macka
