I have a fair idea what has been done to Craigs computer, and I can tell you now its a comprehensive piece of Edit programming that HPF have invested plenty of time into. The results? To coin a phrase here "Speak for Themsevles".

Top work Craig. Top work HPF. Now, how about a 9?

and I agree to disagree as edit is not used to change parameters exide is and I will leave it at that

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

the suggestion made to craig was to get the figgures close with edit and fine tune with xede thus making the signal bending smaller and more acurate!!!

well done craig and hpf!!!!

The one thing I don't understand is this. If I'm not sure what is being done on my car regarding control of the cars computer, how can you know. :msm:

Geea. :spoton:

I have a partial edit with the tuning being done by the Xede. Torque protection removed and rev limit increased with the edit. This may alter in the future but I know that after driving the car on Friday it was amazing. I still like the idea of having a switch for the different maps. I'm contemplating using the edit to lift the base tune to 270rwkw's and then using the Xede to set the different maps. I'll have a chat to HPF and get their thoughts.

so craig this is why I know whats been done

to sum it up the car is tuned by xede and capa edit removes torque protection and increased revs

Ok Brad, to sum it up you're wrong.

Here is the post and a link to it.

Wasnt a good night by any standard.  many delays due to oil on the track, Craig never made the 10's, missed again by few 100ths, and Jeff did a rod in his donk  :msm: at around 3/4 track.  Call the tow truck   :nono:

Not the results we were looking for  :spit:

sad to say the least towed and sorted!!!

craig you keeping the car off the road another week????

or had enough???

Spent the day with Rob @ HPF. We have decided to go back again next Friday.

I've organised with Jeff to have his C16 and will have the car tuned to this. The car has been running VP 109ron fuel so this should give a little more power. Rob's also going to have a chat to Danny (HPF edit tuner) and see if he can get some more power down low. Rob believes that if we can drop the 60' times we should get 10's easier. I'm currently getting 1.80 60' and he feels this is letting the car down. Traction isn't an issue with the MT Street tyres I just need to get out of the hole quicker.

In the mean time it means that I'm driving around in a clapped out Mitsubishi Colt. It's better than walking, but only just.

Geea.

C'mon Craig, I think your being harsh, xrturb is not wrong he never is. With the wealth of information and inciteful imput he provides this forum, and not forgetting he knows what's been done to your car, when you don't.

I think we should really sit back and appreciate the knowledge and information he has readily provided with facts and figures about a car he does not even own.

Really the only thing the guy ever posts is to inflame and knock everything anyone ever tries to suggest or contribute to this forum.

Get a life.........

Craig can provide a receipt for the edit from his tuner, his ecu has been altered by the edit, he has a 10 second time slip with his racing number and photos of his car with the matching number, sounds pretty straight forward to me.

Deano, I think we require a urine sample.... :msm:

:msm: How many witnesses does the guy need? I have been there with him week after week and trust me he is not hiding anything, and has always been upfront with everyone.

The guy achieves his goal which he has dreamed about for a long time, it benefits everyone here as well as sticking it up our competitirs in the lovely LS1 arena and people are questioning him and the authenticity of his claim?

Get a life guys and share the experinece and knowledge that can be passed on from this, rather than a tuning house saying "you will find out when you purchase one of our kits..."

Oh BTW,

WELL DONE again Craig......

Nice to see everything came together and to fruition all at the same time, with your 10's and mag article. :spoton:

Does this mean I don't have to push the bloody thing down the staging lane any more? :msm:

PS- Claim for new cape coming through to you shortly... :msm:

To get something u must do something. I think craig should just send of the details that Street Tuner says in his post to Scott at CAPA and he will get his reward. AMEN..

Well done Craig!

I'll still race ya
