Do you really think either of them would have backed out and given corner to the other, nope!Skaife did not really lay blame, he said 'wheels got tangled and from there we had no chance'. Racing incident I think. No penalty should have been awared in my opinion, but I think it was kinda silly of Marcos, but as stated, he is a race driver and wanted to win.As for his comments post race, "no wonder I want to leave this series and go to America, with decisions like that", p!ss off to America if you are not happy with the decisions made here, there are plenty of young drivers willing to accept the steward's decisions. He is currently number 1 Ford driver, number 1 in SBR, and some would argue in the number 1 team at present...pull your head in pal. Racing was good, I enjoyed it. Good to see Lowndes up there (have been a fan of his since HRT days), Richo, good on him.I agree 100% on that one.Im a loyal Ford supporter but I think Marcus has a bit of a big head now. They both should have known what would happen if they got tangled in first corner. With comments like that from Marcus maybe he should bugger off to yankie land and leave Lowndes to finish showing him how to be a good sportsman. If they were side by side yes. But marcus was nearly a full car lenght in front until that final lung by Snoze. If big nose had of punted Ambrose into the trap instead you all would have been bleeding like stuck cops about not being up to the B pillar. Skaife should have conceded defeat and pulled in behind. This is what most drivers would have done. He still would have bagged a descent amount of points or could have quite easliy won the race and the round and have his championship back on track. It was his choice and he F*cKed up. If the situation was reversed he would have done exactly the same thing. I bet it would have been deemed a racing incident and that is all it was. Seen the same thing happen time and time again everytime the cars came to that corner. The Fords and Holdens had two distinctly different lines into that corner. macka

From the start of the race into turn one. It doesn't matter if your side by side or only overlapping by 1cm you must give room to the pole sitter if is still beside you by that little bit from which people are saying Marcos didn't. It is motorsport rules. Obviously which alot of "armchair experts" do not know and make comments like these. Yes for the rest of the race the B pillar up rule applys but not at the start. I think it's time to admit he's a HASBEEN
