I dont like skaife, and im a fan of ambrose.

but this was ambrose's f*ck up. you cant push a car off the track onto the grass. ambrose needed to clear skaife's car before he turns in. it was stupid of him to do that. if ambrose had been even further up on skaife and turned in like he did, then skaife wouldn't have been able to avoid spining him around, into the gravel, and out of the race. then ambrose would have screamed that skaife was a bad driver. if you dont want to admit that ambrose's move was stupid, you have to admit it was risky.

put it another way. say nothing happened on the first lap, with skaife in the lead. on the aproach to turn one on the second lap, ambrose comes up the inside of skaifes car, up to the rear view mirror (the same position as skaife's car in the first lap incident). it would be deemed that ambrose was far enough up (to the b-pillar) and the corner was ambroses.

so looking at the first corner incident, I reckon skaife's car was still up the inside of ambroses car enough (infront of the B pillar - ambrose rear view mirror was damaged) to claim the corner as his. ambroses risky f*ck up.

my two cents.

I'm pretty sure the damage to Ambrose's mirror was not from the initial contact but from the series of paint-swapping that followed. Ambrose got a better launch, was in a position to take gonzo's position, and tried to do so. Gonzo just didn't want to give up. Ambrose braked earlier than skaife and tried to turn in when all of a sudden there was a lump of :msm: in his way. Can you blame Marcos for trying to hold the lead he established right off the line?

Has anyone noticed 99% of avesco spokespersons wear hsv shirts?

Pathetic judgement in my opinion- we've never seen rick kelly do anything like that now have we??

Sorry guys but it was Marcus's fault, he gave Skaife no chance of staying on the track & as a result they collided, completely avoidable by our number one man & while it pains me to admit it Marcus fukked up.

Ok, I have made up my mind... If Sally says it is Marcus fault it must be. I know he would never back up Expensive Daewoo and exp Skaife unless it was 100% :msm:

Maybe just coming back from over here driving in circles dioriented him abit? :stupid:

I don't walk around with my eyes closed, nor I do purposely let my bias towards HRT show through in my posting.

I am 50/50 on this.

Let's look at it like this, these guys are race drivers, both somewhat arrogant and want to be first into corner one. Do you really think either of them would have backed out and given corner to the other, nope!

Skaife did not really lay blame, he said 'wheels got tangled and from there we had no chance'. Racing incident I think. No penalty should have been awared in my opinion, but I think it was kinda silly of Marcos, but as stated, he is a race driver and wanted to win.

As for his comments post race, "no wonder I want to leave this series and go to America, with decisions like that", p!ss off to America if you are not happy with the decisions made here, there are plenty of young drivers willing to accept the steward's decisions. He is currently number 1 Ford driver, number 1 in SBR, and some would argue in the number 1 team at present...pull your head in pal.

Racing was good, I enjoyed it. Good to see Lowndes up there (have been a fan of his since HRT days), Richo, good on him.

:spoton: I didnt get to hear him say this. He will be in for a shock here. I do not follow NASCAR, I personally hate it  , but from what I hear on TV and people I know, the decisions made by race control here are very inconsistant and made up to suit each driver and team.
