You mean in race 2?

Of course we're all going to say it was Big Nose's fault. By his own admission in the pit lane interview straight afterwards he said "as I came into the corner there was contact between his (Ambrose's) right rear wheel and my left front" ... Well, work it out for yourself ... his (Big Nose's) front bumper therefore wasn't anywhere near level with Ambrose's B-pillar and therefore the corner was Ambrose's.

Of course, Crisso may have a different spin on it. The blooody stupid race stewards did!!! Ambrose got a drivethrough and I think a points penalty as well. Was it 25 points did I hear them say?

In any event Big Nose was the Big Loser and Ambrose still got some good points at the end of the race - and the end of the day. :spoton:

I thought that idiot IPO officer, Peter Wallerman I think it is, was supposed to bring consistency to the judicial process. No wonder Ambrose was pissed. Drive through, fair enough. Both drivers couldve taken the corner better and Skaife came off worse, but te points penalty?

Complete crockofsiht, :nono::nono: they should have taken it for what it was, a race incident.

I know what Skaife would have done had things been the other way round, yep, exactly the same thing.

At least it spices thing up a bit, I think all codes are getting a dose of this lately, Moto GP, F1, WRC, it's good for the spectators/followers.

In regards to Skaife not being up enough on Ambrose...

When I did my cams licences you do not have to be half way up the side of the other car on the start until turn one is complete. As long as you are overlapping the driver must give room and not squeeze off track. I believe this is what bignose was referring to in his little interview. I personally have not seen this incident well. I only saw a glimpse of it on the Bigpond incar coverage so I will not comment further on this particular incident as to who was at fault.

Now... with these incidents (not particulary this one) it kinda sucks if someone screws another persons race up and puts them in the kitty litter. They continue with just a stop and go penalty still in the chance to get some points. To me this just isnt right. You put someone out of a race and you can still continue for points? I know for eg, they took 25 points from Marcos, but 25 points is nothing compared to what a lead runner could get that race (and potential points lost from poor start in next race) Once again, I just used that inncident as an eg... Dont just start flaming on me. I am not blaming Marcos.
