No worries here. The only problem I have is that the cup holders are useless for anything but cans. Bottles get in the way.

same for me, gear shift is smooth. I tend to drive with a 600ml coke in the passenger side cup holder which is not to bad

on a side not I have a ash tray I took from the focus in the drivers side, makes an excelent coin holder ;)

I chuck my bottles between my seat (or the passenger seat) and the center console now. Most bottles slide into the space right next to the seat belt lock with little effort.

I have the 6 spd and I can't believe how easy it is to drive. Had a SSS Pulsar before this and I thought it was nice. This kills it.

I have found that the centre console cup holders with the rubber base are great for my sunglasses. No scratching. :spoton:

when I was test driving the 6 speed, I had no problems changing gears nice and quick.. Could get a chirp from the treads changing from 1st to 2nd easily enough with Traction control on..

I dont think the car dealer guy was impressed..

Let's be honest, he's a twit anyway!

Similar to you Cro, bottles next to the seats. The little plastic tab that allows the cup holder cover to click closed has brokem off, so now mine is open all the time. Only annoying sometimes, the rest of the time its infuriating :spoton:

Overall, I think the layout was definately made with the auto in mind, but who can blame Ford for that?

No problems in my T5, one of the nicest boxes to stir. Only downside is the spacings, 3rd was terrible when new, now I can get it every time! Funny as piss watching other owners miss theirs when theirs was new - I must have looked the same!

I had more problems getting my supra 5speed (in a starion) into 3rd than the T5. No problems at all. Sit a little closer to the wheel and set the wheel up properly (not many people do this, it can move IN and OUT as well as up and down... and round n round too). Took me about 5 minutes to get mine right after the service technician changed EVERYTHING (you would think the guy was driving to Cairns!!)

My T5 is good. The one I test drove was new and 3rd was a bit funny, but mine new from day one was great and just got better.

5th to 3rd isn't too good but.
