every so often I enjoy reading the forums on opinions and the nature of products and how they are recieved and how well they are working out in the real world, -

the consumer usually gives most of these answers after driving there car through all sorts of conditions and situations.

as a tuning workshop we are mainly interested on how well the tune responds after ( in our case an edit or a piggy back ) retune. there is no comparison.

after tuning many ba fords both turbo and n/a other the last several months we confidently say there is not one disadvantage in the FordEdit re- tuning on the ba range of cars.

many cars we have tuned have consistantly been raced, pounded , dyno comps ,

and just every day driven out in the real world, and we have had only excellent feedback from all. at this stage as a workshop we would be more than happy to highly say that editing your ford ( when properly tuned ) gives great power response and reapeatability. up to now only some small niggles have arisen which have now all been sorted out very quickly and the editing is virtually 100%.

I think the positive response on the forums would also confirm this.

there is no comparison.

All spiffing if you are in Adelaide or Melbourne..... :sleepystuff:

Out of curiosity , have you KPM guys done any extensive edit work on the Phoon as yet? My interest is, come October the potential output of a 6 Speed auto Phoon with 968 injectors ,Full APS Zorst and custom tune edit ?? I would anticipate around the 310 - 315 RWKW mark.... your thoughts ?

Well, I'm as happy as a pig in :spoton: with mine.

Now that the TC is fixed, all is just spiffy :msm:

Now I just need to find a money tree so I can get springs, injectors, beefed up auto, fuel pump, and exhaust :sleepystuff:

OK so maybe you can answer this question - CAPA did not reply to my requests :sleepystuff::msm::msm:

Roughly what can I expect on a BA XR6 N/A with CAI, Extractors, HFC, 2.5" Exhaust and an edit and tune

My first run with a G-Tech with CAI gives a reading of 139.4kw :spoton::spoton:

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

not on the typoon as yet, but there is no reason we are not going to see the same results on the typoon for less upgrade money and effort than we are already seein on the current turbo .

sensible upgrades on the xr6t to achieve 300+ rwkw would be injectors, valve springs, intercooler , exhaust and edit.

on the typhoon I suspect we reach these same figures with possibly only exhaust and edit.

although we are seeing bare minimum upgrades eg. injectors and custom edits only achieving 300 rwkw on some xr6t

.
