I think that's not fair the next step I guess would have been the xr8, but then you have to consider for a few more $$$ you might as well get the GT.So I guess it would have been the GT.

1969-70 Mach 1 Mustang, used to have a poster of a beautifully modified one on me bedroom wall when I was like 16, still my fav.

Though in reality I didnt have cash for the T, tis on finance and I doubt a finance company would finance a 35yr old beast. So I guess I'd still be drivin the old EA.

An AU III XR8 (TE 50) or A Subaru Forester XT.

Was actually shopping for a manual AU 220kw XR8, but kept getting mysteriously dragged towards XR6Ts. Worth blowing my budget for, but I do think the Windsors swansong in AUs were a fine car too.

Here's a nice example attached-

Oh and I recon the title should be if Ford did not bring out the BA range what would you be driving.

I didnt like the AU any of em, if it werent for the BA I'd still be drivin the EA to this day :-)

I waited for 12 months to get a 4 door GTR, but ended up getting the T when the luxury pack was released.

I would still swap it for the GTRin a heartbeat, if I could get one :spoton:
