The battery looses power. It only has like 5 volts in there. None of the lights go up in the dash, can't move the windows, can't even turn on the radio or CB.The NRMA dude comes out, jump starts it and all is good till next time.Now I have my CB wired straight through to the battery, the bluetooth car kit is wired to accessory something (goes off when ignition is off), the lights are wired via a relay.This NRMA bloke reckoned the CB is draining power even when it's off, and suggested I set it up to accessory (I have NFI on how to do that), or setup a relay for it. No worries about the relay, just means I have an extra switch to turn on/off.I doubt the CB can drain all it's power though, it's only a 12v5w radio.Has anyone got any other idea's on what might be killing my battery?And yes I am 100% sure the ignition is off as I leave my keys outside the car. I also have a Nokia bluetooth carkit and I wired the acc and power the wrong way around, you may have done the same.Try to hear if the kit shuts down when you turn the ignition off. Your battery is on it's way out (But I would have thought the NRMA dude would have said)2. Your battery may be running low on juice - not sure what the actual liquid is but I have been told distilled water is good for topping up batterys, BTW I may have some at home if you want to try using it...3. From memory there is a cut off switch that should automatically isolate the battery when the car is switched off, this could be playing up... If it doesnt recharge the battery enough, then the battery will slowly drain as you drive and perhaps a 2 day park is enough for it to drop below the threshold where it works. I would also try disconnecting the CB before you go rewiring it. Drive the car for a bit (few hours over a day or two) then park it for the 2 days again. If it works you can be sure the CB is the likely cause. If it doesnt work, then chances are the problem is your alternator not charging, another part of the car "leaking" current, or the battery is faulty and not holding a charge properly. If the car is under warrantee, then try disconnecting the blue tooth and cb for a few days and see if that fixes it. If it doesnt, then make a warrantee claim. If you leave the car for 2-3 days or longer the battery seems to lose it power. If you drive the car on a daily basis all is well, I have no extras connected to my car so I guess the battery is on the way out.
