Yeah let me at this one,

1. Tacho won't go past 6,000 rpm

2. Speedo won't go past 230kph

as a result of these two horrific flaws my car frequently suffers from jerking about like a top in the Ocean

Yes I did get rid of my Ute.

It just seems everytime I read theres a new problem with the T's. I wish I didn't have to get rid of my ute ( Lost a lot of money ) but it appeared that everytime I got in it I found something wasn't quite right.

Agreed that all cars are going to have problems ( a fault or two ) but its quite evident that Ford don't care & there problems are lengthy. I've read all the posts about good & bad Services departments. Its a lottery.

Not slagging the T , but mine left a bad taste in my mouth. I think its a revolutionary car & in 3-4 years it will be a whole lot better. I will continue to follow its evolution & that of the cars within this forum.

Oh & yeah my signature was off.....

I'm over whinging about the quality of mass produced cars. IMO, that's what warranty is for. :sleepystuff:

unfortunately the warranty doesnt always get all issues resolved..... glad my ute is sold too as it had too many problems..

my new T is great though :spoton: only one problem... the back door doesnt close properly.... but this will get fixed at the 3000km compimentary service thingo :spoton: The 6 speed manual rocks :spoton:

This thread is a waste of server hard drive space!

If you have a problem take it back and get it fixed under warranty. Reality is that there are going to be a few issues with every car sold, but that's just the way of life. Unless you can afford a BMW, Merc or Jag etc!

Good luck! :)

Completely untrue! What is this misconception that European cars are faultless?

not a waste of space at all... what makes you think what you have to say is important and what some1 else has to say isnt?????? I dont see a sign saying that if your going to post about your problems, dont post at all!!!

No but I think you should be posting about your problems in order to get them fixed not just to bag these cars out...

Guys, I think what has been said about jnr is that he should have posted these problems that are easily fixed now if he had have found the right dealer before he sold his xr6 and went anf bought a subaru. He no longer owns a n xr6 and has a sour taste in his mouth as he has written.Sorry if you still had the car there would have been some merrit but I dont agree with some one changing camps and whinging about there previous car either.

Gee maybe I should go buy a HSV and complain that my fog light blew too when I had my xr6.

Yes I changed camps but Im still a follower of the T. They will break records as they already have.

I sold my car not my opinion.

The fog Lamps seem to be a topic of discussion but at the end of the day I had to take it back to Ford to replace it. Perhaps Im not as technically minded as some but not everyone that buys a T knows how to work on them , ask your Ford Service Crew.
