I have a boat with a 63' 327 chev with a twin barralled holley carb and am having some issues that have me stumped... went to our local lake on thurs... ran great and on friday to... sat started to get a very uneven idle, sort of surging so I turned the idle up a bit... then it seemed to be missing under power... then it wouldnt start... checked points, plugs, cant check timing cause wont idle... could it be fuel pump or carb issues?really lost... help

Pull a lead off to chek spark. running rich??

Many have no harmonic balancer, and the cam is generally advanced to buggery. Sounds like a fuel supply issue.
