Just interested in your guys opinion.

I was goin thro the other thread on shiftkits and Jeff was saying in his opinion that shiftkit would improve 1/4mile times. My questions are..

1) do you guys think about time down the 1/4 would be much better??? if so by how much?

2) Has anybody tested this?? maybe with a Gtech..

If I get off ma ass. I will order one sometime next week and test it on the GT-P. In the end it 85 bucks jus tank of petty.

Just want your opinion.

Paul....

haven't timed it yet but I reckon the 2nd to 3rd shift must be good for a couple of tenths on its own.

It may be my imaginatin but it seems more toey off the line & loads the convertor up easier & quicker prior to launch.

It changes your times for sure every car out there on the weekend has had them fitted by me and the results speak for them selves. the xr8 auto went from 14.1 to 13.6 the shift on the v8's work well with this mod..

Jeff,

Do you have these in stock? Or are the boys buying them and then bringing them to you to have them fitted?

Will the shiftkit enhance an auto that already has had some work like the line pressure upgrade done?

Regards

M G

I think you will find that is exaclty what this switch is doing.. It is setting your oil supply pressure to HIGH all the time, rather than letting it switch between high and low supply pressure as normal.
