I bet in the right hands (read professional driver, who does not care about the car) it may be good for a 13.2-5.

Would that make it the fastest ?

Yeap I think it would be, as the current VZ Clubby does the 1/4 mile in 13.61.

Will be interesting reading in the next issue of Motor Magazine where they will test drive the Phoon again.

Pfff….you make it sound like driving a manual is complicated.

Here’s a little challenge for a manual boy – try and match the ET down the quarter in a manual that an auto can do with the same rwkw.  It’s simple really, I can’t see anyone changing manual gears as fast and efficient as an auto will do it for you; get over it.

You can’t beat a manual for handling when going through the twisty bits, but for day to day driving and straight line performance you’d have to have rocks in your head to think that just because you have a gear stick you’re the superior one!

Now come and give me a hug.

Trent.

Eeeeew, get away from me with that huggy huggy stuff. It's true then, you auto girlies really ARE into that sort of stuff.

:laughing::laughing::laughing:

If you want to drive a car, drive a manual ... or you might as well just be a passsenger ....

:laughing:

would a 13.76 make the typhoon australia's quickest production car?

No I think the enemy has that title :laughing:

MOTOR got a 4.99 out of a GTO I think with an LS2. Time for the 1/4 was near enough to 13 flat. Ford have got some way to go yet.

That's laughable... purely because the slusher has a lamens manual, which is marketed for when u get that ' performance driving ' feeling..

So u never use the 'manual' in the SSS??
