I had my N/A exhaust rattling at idle. My Dealer installed a new Cat at 60,000km

Im happy now except for the growing list of other problems that need fixing now.

Same here - N/A and cat was replaced somewhere around 53,000. Bloody annoying sound and VERY embarrassing when engine breaking!

As for a "growing list", I don't have one of those...! spoton.gif

Hi Guys just need some opinions,

The heat shield on my stock exhaust is driving mad with the rattling that it makes. I have tried to make it fit better but it hasnt worked.

I want to take it all off, but I am concerned about the amount of heat in the cabin. Has anyone taken it off, and what were the results.

Thanks for your help boys.

Mine has been removed from the above the cat. No dramas with heat or anything else.

Mine's been off for ages with no dramas and stopped that annoying rattle straightaway.
