I don't if this is correct or not but I received a $37-50 charge itemised on the account above the 30000km service charge. Looking through the service manual schedule on page 48 under the heading 'Functional Checks' it does say about the handbrake. If they didn't ask if you wanted the handbrake doing, they can't charge you... If u told them initially it needed doing and to do it, they can, but if it's in the manual I can't see how it's possible to charge it out???the fact they have to disconnect the handbrake when removing the diff ( I assume it's like just about every other handbrake setup?? ) seems weird to bill u...... Would appreciate any feedback on this situation.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Happened to me to at a 15,000 k/m service, my hand break needed to be pull a fair way up, more than I like, so I said to adjust it......copped that item as well next time I think I'll bring my legal council with me make sure everything is on the level.
