Posted 29/04/05 05:05 AM Share Posted 29/04/05 05:05 AM I noticed when I was changing my wheels today that the inside drivers rear was wearing more than the rest of the wheel. It looks like some of this may have been caused by wheelspin. Is there a way of rectifying this or is only a problem when the wheels are spinning?Geea. Dear Hoon boy,I'm sure it will all work itself out.Just get your wife to cook you a nice dinner.Put your front wheels on the back and vise-versa.If this doesn't work, have a nice cup of tea and a lie down.Yours,Dorathy Dix. Posted 29/04/05 05:47 AM Author Share Posted 29/04/05 05:47 AM Ok guys I'll try and explain it abit better. Is it possible that the rear suspension of the car needs to be adjusted because it has been lowered. Is the suspension able to be adjusted and if so would I be better off asking HPF, a tyre place or a suspension place. Or does the inside of tyres wear more than the rest because of wheelspin. I would have thought that the tyre would have even wear accross the whole surface regardless of how it was driven. Geea.

A good suspension place can sort it for you pretty quickly as I believe the rear is adjustable. If not I'm sure there will be a big enough hammer in the workshop that will do the job eh :w00t2:

Paranormal Member 469 Member For: 21y 7m 10d Location: Brissy Posted 29/04/05 12:42 PM Share Posted 29/04/05 12:42 PM Well I've had a few beers but thnking about it, if you watch drag cars the front left lifts up often off the tarmac, placing weight on right rear tyre. You would think this would let the left rear spin and wear more but with a LSD independent maybe not but what it may do is lift the inside of the right rear slightly thus waering out the outside of the right rear, whilst the left rear suspension without the weight balances itslef considering the are independent.Or should I just go for another beeer?
