I think that are many people using them that are not having any problems.

Maybe another marketing ploy from Nizpro to ensure people only use their products and simply cannot be bothered perservering with stuff they do not sell. I would like to know how much it would cost to have an injector drilled out. Considering its a changover system and it still costs well over $600 I'd say there's plenty of money in it. Which is what business is all about. And most of their R&D would be centered around these injectors knowing that the ohm empedence matches what the PCM is looking for.

F6, As far as Nicks tuning of the EMS and how he setup the fuel map. If I could get my stupid old laptop to network with my PC I would show you.

I had eugenes injectors flow checked and tested for suitability (specifically asked about impedance) with edit, and have been told they are O.K. :spoton:

My car will be booked in as soon as possible.

Hi Macka,

No one can tell me the part number of eugenes injectors hence I cant pin down the exact spec to compare them.

The PCM would use known tables of known fuel flow as per the injector size and Pressure and when any of the above changes the mapping will need to be changed as such.

ms controls the volume as the pressure is a constant.... I must ask nick what system he was using with EMS then to gain such good results.

Here is where Eugene is quoting his figures from:

(Doesn't the BA run a 4bar fuel system?)

The STD injector is a Bosh

0 280 156 123

Flow rate of 213.0 g/min @ 3 Bar

Recommended operating Pressure is 2.7 Bar

Resistance is 14.5 ohms

Dual Spray/Long body

0 280 155 968

Flow rate of 310.0 g/min @ 3 Bar

Recommended operating Pressure is 3.8 Bar

Resistance is 12 ohms

Dual Spray/Long body

@AdamXR6T

This is the only “LONG” body in that PDF so I gather Eugene is saying this it????

0 280 155 737

Flow rate of 261.2 g/min @ 3 Bar

Recommended operating Pressure is?? Bar

Resistance is 12 ohm

Long

Type C = Conical spray “not Dual spray”

@ Blown BA

I can’t find a PDF on this one at all???????????

0 280 156 127

So at this point in time I am still very confused.

No wonder the final results vary so much with these tunes… Out of the box tunes will never work with so many variables unless each map is tailored to suit the exact injector.

Well look in here then. There maybe some useful info it there somewhere or PM Eugene for the part number. This thread is where I got the PDF file from.

So Eugene's injectors are inbetween the standard and the 968s as far as fuel delivery and performance go but are cheaper than 968s (and possibly the standards too?)?

Done that many times but still cant get anything concrete on his injectors and it looks like most others are tuning to the injector they use.

Looks like its all a bit hit and miss :spoton:
