You'll get it sorted................... when your lease is up, sorry to hear your dilemma's.

I just took a couple of dudes for a run one being a BA XR8 owner the other a Holding owner, they giggled like school girls, they were wery quiet when the speed reading no longer had a 1 as the first number

Scotty

Wow, you got that thing over 19km/h - that's insane!

Trent.

Nanna always said, before you speak remember to make certain it complies with these 3 simple rules

1. Is it kind

2. Is it necessary

3. Is it true

if it doesn't comply to all 3 remain speechless.

The silence is killing me, Trent you are so lucky right now

Scotty

I bought my car from Gregorys Braddon and up to date have had it serviced there with no real probs. My car hasn't really had any major warranty problems (yet....) except for the handbrake which I haven't worried about because I know they don't know how to fix it so I just put up with it.

Maybe you could try taking the car to a non-Ford workshop for servicing though obviously they are not going to fix any problems under warranty, though neither is your current Ford dealer so nothing really changes there. The independent workshop might figure out how to fix the problems even though you may have to pay for them, but at least then they will be fixed (hopefully).

Watch out for that dodgy spare parts guy at Mitchell.....

Aussie cars are cheap and affordable for the performance you get - what do you expect? Audi build quality?

Sure, Audi build quality might be nice. Too bad the dealers still don't give a stuff.

My boss took delivery of his Audi A4 1.8T Cabriolet last March. ON DELIVERY, he found the tint was peeled at the corners on the passenger door glass and his phone car kit had been installed in such a crude way that they'd damaged his center console and buggered up the alignment of the CD player. Sure, those are things taken care of by subbies, but the dealer's the one in charge of quality control before the vehicle is released.

After having the car for 2 months, the brake lights started staying on all the time. Odd, especially being coupled with the car not wanting to lock, then not wanting to unlock then the roof not going up or down. Did I mention that sometimes it wouldn't even start? Back to Audi, new computer; all fixed, see ya later. But it's European so that's OK?

I bought my car from McGrath, Belconnen.

Had a couple of problems with the car but they fixed them no problems.

After the last service the sevice co-ordinator gave me his card and ask me to ring him when I got home to let him know how the car went.

I personaly found them very good.

regards

Gary

He was there, but I think hasn't been for a couple of years now ... Mick will fill us in if I'm wrong.

I think consumers are thier own worst enemies. As long as there are those amongst us that hold the view that "I know I spent $50k but hey it's only a Ford so I'll just put up with the average build quality and don't give a f*ck service attitude", nothing is likely to improve.

I'm sure if we had the "3 strikes and your out" law that applies to other products manufacturers would find a fix for p*ss poor issues such as scraping brakes quick smart.

Not Jeff Wignall's ford is it?

Or are they in Mornington?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Both, and also at Rosebud.

cdmwedge,

Looking at your name, I was wondering if it has anything to do with Commander Wedge Antilles? Perhaps you should trade the T in on an X-Wing and fight the empire? Or is that the metephor? That now you are taking on a new empire... This one is not ruled by a black plastic man with a respiritory disease living on a space ship, this one is rulled by an American living in Geelong?

If your name has nothing to do with Wedge Antilles, please ignore my stupid commentry.
