It has also had another nice big hole cut in it for the SS inductions bigmouth kit. If you want the airbox and the ss inductions kit I have decided to not put it on my new car as I didnt want to remove the bonnet rubber to fit it. I would part with it for pretty reasonable cash if you were insterested. Just for the record though, if you dont want the SS inductions thingamie, the standard snorkel will NOT fit back up to it. PM me if you are interested though.Otherwise just do it yourself, its absolutely piss easy. I did it with an angle grinder without too much hassle. It has been on the car since new. Was thinking of leaving it on and adding XR8 CAI as a second CAI. Any thoughts on doing this...looking to maximise air and then adding Seimens injectors, bigger dump pipe and bigger cats. Opinions greatly appreciated.I've heard that the SS induction one can over time start sagging in the middle and start to close up (making it less effective at sucking in the air). I'm just using the standard air intake, along with a typhoon second air intake and it sounds great with an after market panel air filter. Took stuff all to fit and looks factory.Someone said in an earlier post that the typhoon and xr8 ones are the same, but they are different. The typhoon one is designed to fit against the flat side of the air box, whereas the xr8 one is designed to fit against the curved face of the round pod filter cover that the XR8's use. They can still be fitted to an XR6 square are box, but you need to put something in between to join the two items together.

Will consider my options..its a few more months before the CAMS Super Sprint championship starts again and hoping to improve on my third place without breaking the fairly strict regulations. Thx again.
