It would be quite dissapointing on their behalf if they didnt...

It would just be a metter of taking the bottom of your box out and cutting a hole in it to fit the new intake. I have not seen the Typhoon intakes and am not sure how they attach to the box?All you need is a small drill (cordless is fine), mark where you want the hole, draw the outline of the hole on the box. Then drill all the way around staying on the inside of the line with a 4mm drill-bit. Take the unwanted bit out and smooth the hole with some sand paper. The bit of lip on the intake would sit on the outside of the box and the other section would sit snug in the hole you cut and leave about (~5mm) of the ribs so that you can put them in those holes to hold it all in place. I would also use silastic around that lip to hold it in secure.I suggest you make a stencil on a peice of card board and get a nice snug fit, then use this on your air box to mark the hole and cut it. Just make sure to line the hole up with the ribs on the inside of your box!
Guest Mal Guests Posted 27/04/05 01:57 PM Share Posted 27/04/05 01:57 PM I fitted my Typhoon snorkel myself last week.. it's not that hard.. I used a drill, a Dremel for cutting the hole, and a file.. it took about an hour.
