Antisocial Weird Member Member 1,347 Member For: 22y 6d Location: ACT Posted 26/04/05 12:39 PM Author Share Posted 26/04/05 12:39 PM Congratualtions Alex, I drove past the dealer on the weekend and noticed something was missing....I previously wondered how they were allowed to have it on the lot for sale with the clutch issue officially unresolved (not a payout on you or the car, just a thought).<{POST_SNAPBACK}>It has been locked away in the basement of the dealership since November, waiting for a fix.The sales man went to a Ford golf day before I bought it and asked John Bowe what he knew on the subject.The clutch fix had been found but FPV obviously wanted to be positivly absolutely defineitely 100% certain that this would fix the problem and not have to release yet another egg on face patch.Apparently since the clutch fix has been found and was awaiting validation they were able to sell it, assuming that the fix would be released before I was able to break it.
