cqae Member 229 Member For: 21y 3m 8d Posted 02/05/05 12:09 PM Share Posted 02/05/05 12:09 PM not sure if it applies to the BA but I assume it does:- on the au when someone tries to pull of a rear rotor sometimes the handbrake shoe catches on a small lip inside the drum of the rotor, this bend the handbrake shoe retaining clip & allows the shoe to move sideways & touch on the face of the disc where the wheel nuts are. cause the shhh noise regardless of how it is adjusted. to fix it, just take the clip off, retension it & readjust handbrake shoes on the little start adjuster.
