I reckon the barra transplant is a great idea. If I had the 30k+ to do ild put one in an s14 series 1 with an fg turbo and have a mad street car. With the interior stripped and 330 odd kw it would be awesome.

The handling in them is puss in comparison though. All these Jap Cars have a massive amount of parts to choose from and there's so many that the prices are pretty good. You can get a cooler and exhaust for under 1k now. also they look tough with some good wheels and fitment. .

Where as old falcons have a mad presence they handle pretty average. I was driving my uncles XY GT and it's just not suited for what ild want to do with it :innocent:

Yeah but you would loose all those cheap parts if you put an I6 in it. And the big heavy donk would probably stuff up the handling too.

Only be good in a straight line cause of power to weight but when you can get an RB or a 2JZ to 1000hp and 8s why bother with all the headaches and engineering.

Yeah the first one or two would be interesting and turn heads but I reckon it'll get old fast.

Because RBs and reliability don't exactly go together. Getting an rb to 1000hp would be a nightmare. An s14 has an sr20, which is on a knife edge at 330 and laggy as f*ck. A 1000hp rb wouldn't boost to 6000rpm. And the rb's a heavy donk too. For some reason I feel putting a Toyota motor in a Nissan is wrong though lol.

The barra with the little huffer should fit easily enough in the bay, the height might be an issue.

But putting a Ford one in a Expensive Daewoo isn't? Lol

How about the TT V6 outta the galants then? They are meant to be pretty good and reliable ain't they?
