yeah, although that is a great way to cook meat, that's not the way you cook kebab meat... that's how I get my charcoal chicken, speaking of spit roasted food

You reckon "kebab meat" is traditionally cooked on an upright, stainless steel gas/electric "not a rotisserie"?

 

They put the meat on the grill to try and replicate the crisp bits you get over fire

it's a rotisserie... that's my point. lol it's the same as a spit, just with regular element heaters instead of fire/charcoal and it's vertical rather than horizontal.

 

I don't care about traditional methods of cooking versus newer more efficient methods, as long as the meat is properly cooked. I don't care for the "fire" effect. The grill warms it up, but doesn't make it much crispier, in my experience.
