I did the a recce of the Flowerdale run the other day and it's a good one - sealed roads and some mildly curvey bits.Hi Guys,I'm thinking Sunday 24 September suits better for me for the Flowerdale Kinglake cruise and by coincidence, this avoids any clashes if others want to do the Werribee cruise advertised by saiken on the 16 September.Adam, phevor, flukeyluke and gogo, is Sunday 24 September also okay for you? I've got a personal committment that's just come up today which makes 17 September not good for me. It will also give me a little more time to check out a change in the route to see if it's worthwhile (which would add a bit more curvy bits to the cruise) but won't add to the length of it.I will have the Flowerdale Kinglake cruise topic posted up soon so you can start replying to it. So I made an enquiry and FPR can put one on for us as well and it's free of charge. So, this is about visiting FPR in Glenbarry Rd, Campbellfield (just opp. Ford factory in Broadmeadows) either on Thu 12 Oct or Thu 26 Oct at 6pm for a tour of the the FPR workshop, a talk by one of the FPR team members, see some of the FPR cars close up and have a go at a timed tyre change using pneumatic tyre changers (FPR merchandise prize for the fastest tyre change ). We will also have a chance to walk through their merchandise outlet to buy something if we like and they have a lots of little FPR knick nacks . Finish up with a 7:15pm dinner at La Porchetta pizza restaurant just down the road (which has nothing to do with FPR - so I was thinking we just order some pizzas and drinks split the cost amongst us) before we head off home.Would anyone be interested? I'll post up a proper topic for replies if you are. Edited 01/09/06 09:15 AM by EvilDaifu
