Here is a little write up on the above mentioned Capri...This is one of my brother's little builds, finished a little over a year ago, we have been doing some playing around with it since then and have only just got it all working good. the car is registered, engineered (that's why we went the 4L 1UZ V8 as it's the biggest cube allowed in a Capri with turbo's) drives around 150-200km a week. the car is driven to the track, not towed. slicks are put on, twin cat exhaust is dropped and the parachute is put on.the car made 675rwhp@21psi on BP98 ran a best of 9.0@151we made the switch to E85 a little over a year ago and haven't looked back. the car is showing around 1150hp on 30psi with the race E85 and 1050hp with the pump bowser E85.on the race E85 it has run a best of 8.20@166United pump boswer E85 has run a best of 8.28@166 (100lbs lighter) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
