What about without the standard airbox Mick? Many tuners, mine included, have had no problems with the FG crossover once the restrictive airbox is replaced with a pod. Would be keen to see someone do a test with a Growler (or similar) with 4" inlet muffler pipe against a turbo side setup. I reckon fark all difference given the filters flow the same CFM.

I have seen several times that the standard air box starts to restrict at around 300, several cars have picked up approx 10 rwkw from just the V8 box conversion.

I tested the standard intake crossover but with the air box lid still fitted, it flowed slightly more than through a filter etc, based on what I have seen but have not tested in enoguh detail, I would expect any air box/filter arrangement would flow less than a turbo side air box set up using a good filter etc

Any other damage apart from scratches and the eye? You would have to be pretty sore this morning...

Hope the little pricks get what they deserve, must have taken a lot of guts to follow them afterwards.

SA can do 350 on stock injectors and QLD can do 350 on a standard pump...

We need to get the 2 tuners to 1 workshop, imagine the gains then.

dave told me that 350ish kw is achievable on a standard pump as long as you dont mind running half 1/3 of a tank everywhere

f6's have a bigger pump? that guy only a xr6t though.

I seen fg xr6t ute make 370rwk. then the stock fuel pump was start'n to lean out..

that's from down gold coast way

whats the flow on the fg fuel pumps, I thought they were the same unit as herrod used to sell for the b series cars?

which still need a surge tanks for 350rwkw

Finally got the chance to do some more on Bels G6ET, ported the turbo and added a 8 lb actuator and a real quick tune

Cv quick or dynowog quick?
