Has not added any power as the turbo is allready maxed out, but now I can control boost down to respectable levels now rather than the 16 psi it was maing in the midrange with the wastegate wide open.

Boost still falls over in the top though due to the turbo being a restriction.

Found the stock induction cross over is a restriction and a clean stock air filter flows as much as a K&N panel filter at these power levels

Really? That's interesting.

What boost and power is it making now?

That's pretty good for an auto, so the stock cross over can max the stock turbo but that's about it.

When we tried Ben's turbo side air box, there was an improvement over the v8 box and stock intake, when we removed the stock intake from the turbo there is also an improvement, so basically the stock cross over is close to perfect size for the standard turbo with just a little restriction

What about without the standard airbox Mick? Many tuners, mine included, have had no problems with the FG crossover once the restrictive airbox is replaced with a pod. Would be keen to see someone do a test with a Growler (or similar) with 4" inlet muffler pipe against a turbo side setup. I reckon fark all difference given the filters flow the same CFM.
