Factory bike means support right from the factory, being on a private team means you get all the parts from the factory but your paying,get parts later, sometimes dont get new parts at all. All the R@D the factory bikes do does not filter down to private teams for months. Stoner rides for HRC, Honda Racing Corparation, where Simoncelli ride's for Gresini honda..
