ebxmple Member 1,322 Member For: 16y 11m 8d Posted 05/05/08 11:17 AM Share Posted 05/05/08 11:17 AM This car was BOSXR yeah? why is his power so low for a full built motor?Nice car either way.Yeah it was BOSXR. 364rwkw at 15psi was its result 2yrs ago as that's when it was all done but still pulls pretty hard. I suppose if you drive it hard all the time you dont want it running at its maximum as it wont last long.I dont like the atomic engine he has as its too damn noisy and I reckon he loses a bit of power with it also. Cant imagine that an engine with the pistons rocking around would put out as much power as an engine with tighter clearances. Another one that we did was RLQUIK which has the same gear, as the old owner of BOSXR and him are best mates. RLQUIK has a little more power and ran a best time of 10.92sec at calder even with the rediculously lowered suspension. Dont just rely on dyno figures is how I see it. Its all about how the torque is delivered, not the rwkw figure at 6500rpm.
