Hi shi tbmxrider,

That's good to hear that you're interested in the proposed Winton V8 Supercars cruise.

Here's a pic I took at Walkerville South today that would have been on the route to Wilsons Prom.

Hey Guys,

Would like to know whose car have the "RPID F6" plates?

Actually saw the guy in Vermont Kentucky the other day, and never realized it was his car - would like to meet up ;)

Best regards,

MrBean

whos car is that gary?

Just a mate's car. Love the area - especially Wilsons Prom.

Did the Yarra Ranges route recently and all the VicRoads road works that was happening on the stretch to Warburton have been completed now. Lovely bit of road, that. Sealed, signed and twisted :roflmbo: I'll be meeting with TUFXRT6 to see if we can plan something soon.

Hi Guys,

We ran a skid pan day last year which cost $120 per participant. It was good, but I'm now wondering what more could be covered on such a day.

Here are some things that are of interest to me and maybe yourselves in our own cars?

1. Drifting but not just go round and round on a skid pan, but actually take some corners around a track so that you aren't just going around and around.

2. Hand-brake turns - 90 deg, 180 deg, 360 deg and slide into a parallel parking spot (facing the opposite direction as you approach it).

3, Quarter mile starts (foot on brake, foot on accerelator, etc.)

4. Anything else?

I've also asked Driver Dynamics, who ran last year's skid pan day, to see if the above list is feasible for a 1 day driver training session in Melbourne somehwere. If they say it is, disregarding cost for the moment, would anyone be interested?

This is exactly the types of things I would like to learn in my T.

For those that dont know, I participated in the skid pan day & it was probably one of the gretest things I have done in the T.

My avatar was taken from that day.

My two cents rounded up to five :stupid:
