I'll do the Karts or a cruise to Daylesford, I went karting with the boys from work last year on a bucks party and it was absolutely brilliant!!! Highly recommended...

Either way I'm in.

Just on the karting...

When I went with the boys at work we went to Go Kartsport Racing on Chesterville Road, Moorabbin. It's indoors, so might be a little better if the weather is no good, and we had an awesome night there, and they have a bar to have beer afterwards for you to discuss your prowess on the track :spoton:

Hiya Guys,

I'm more inclined to have the indoor karts day either in June or August during the coldest and wettest time of the year. If we can get in a good sunny Sunday in May, I'd prefer to go for a cruise. Autumn is a great time to see the country - so I'm thinking maybe a cruise to DaylesFord - Hepburn Spa - Castlemaine - Maldon (maybe a circuit around the lake near Maldon). Looks like some would like that as well. I'll post up proposed route soon. Anyone who knows the area or been to parts of it and would like to suggest routes/places of interest to visit, please post up! :spoton:

For those interested in a track based day, Nizpro have been organising a series of some driver training in June, and 2 track days in August from memory - all at sandown.

I would recommend contacting Simon if you are interested...

Cheers,

Ben.

Anyone else thing this date is okay?  Have not heard any objections with this date so far.

I'm not free till June so I'm up for either weekend of 10/11th or 17/18th (ideal) would be great for a karting afternoon or evening event. Plus the sooner it's decided then the more hope we have of getting a booking coz I doubt they'd reserve dates.

Auscarts in Port Melb is a pretty awsome for karts/track. The place in Chesterville Rd was alright but Auscarts was better for value. I haven't been to Acekarts but there meant to be tops.

So anyone got a weekend in mind for a cruise?  :mexicanwave:

I have a feeling everyone is sitting tight until BVMK11 now.

Indoor GoKart is a good idea, out of the cold and rain. Its not good cruise weather for the next couple of months.
