His cars fixed. Turned out it needed a nizpro airbox.

LOL this^^^

Yeah staino all fixed now, had to do a retune and change injectors form nizpro ones to new nizpro ones and that seemed to fix the issue. Car and while I was there I got there air box too, soo the car made 305rwk. Next is there cooler kit and most likely there exhaust so I can be 100% epa approved.

Question. . Is cooler piping with a aftermarket cooler classed as another mod? Or come under 1 intake mode with the cooler. ??????

The way they explained it me by the EPA guy is if its not stock its modified their fore changes emission output their fore can be done for emission test , he is not arguing whether it is or isn't going to pass just the mere fact it is no longer factory.

its a blanket rule and chances are it will fail emission test most factory cars do however if its stock and fails its passed, of its modified and fails you are .

The reason the nizpro cars passed is because they met or bettered the emission test of that model car and got certified or whatever to be emission Compliance which cost them $$$ best option in my opinion if u want to play it safe otherwise run the gauntlet like everyone else lol

If you have the money nizpro really are the way to go if you want it on the road and all testing emission compliance etc

my 2 cents

not sure if Nizpro ever actually were EPA compliant... ADR is the compliance standard they met. Isn't it? or am I just talking rubbish...

This is correct however the ADR sometimes also includes EPA testing. Not sure if this kit does. Someone may want to double check.

Other way around mate emission compliant not ADR compliant double checked their website to be sure, its a Grey area technically because it means the car meets the emission s at or under the factory specific limit but doesn't have ADR approval so fitment of intercooler crash zone all that crap.

Emission compliance is half the battle though and I remember reading some nizpro cars got off without the need for emission testing because of the compliance the kits already have obtained, the more you look in too he more your head will ache with the way things are done etc

So if you have the money as. Said before nizpro are the only ones with emission compliant kits.

You could build your car with whatever parts and get it tested carnt remebe r the $$$ but wasn't cheap and then your car would be emission compliant.

Providing it passed BTW otherwise you need to make changes to make it pass pay for retest etc.
