Did the garage door leave any damage? I've a scratch on my car from my garage door. :( id forgotten to put the handbrake on. Whoops.

Hahaha nah mate door wasn't closing, I just backed into it.

you cant just do a bit of panel beating? hahah

you can just replace the one you back into! abit of work to undo the top few panels, the guides etc. they do lift out of the tracks.

Nah no damag to the car adie, hit it with the towball.

Yeah its just one panel that's f*cked. It looks like the panel just screws onto the rails on the inside which aren't damaged. I wonder if it's that easy or I have to pull the door apart.

Haha have done some panel beating but the metal is very thin (unlike roller doors) so it creased easy. No way of beating it out.

ahh

yer another thing is being the bottom one, its got the metal cables attached to it (well it should if yours doesnt), which is attached to the top and rolls up when the door open and closses which helps the door, I think its weight sprung or whatever, and is under load!

so might be more trickey than you think. but be careful if you still want to DIY!

yeah I have heard those springs are compressed to the sh*t house and if it goes you will know about it.

Definately know about it!
