I haven't used PC for gaming since about 2003/04 (Half Life II was the last PC game I bought).. And I remember for a while every game that came out required upgrading to a newer/bigger/better system.. So console game for $80 was smashing the cost of the PC cause Game + Graphics card + Processor.. Teensy bit more expensive. Is it still like that for PC's? How long are you getting out of them before they need upgrading for the newest and greatest thing.. Cause that's my attraction to XBOX.. I use it for 3d modeling and running structural analysis software.. 2x nvidia 9500gt's running 3 monitors. But can run 4. Twin Intel Xeon processors.. 16gig ram.. And solid state drives.. Works pretty good for what I need but I reckon the processor needs an upgrade before I consider gaming on it. And I wont mention what it cost..
